The Persecuted Church 

According to the Open Doors World Watch List of persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ, 1* 1 in 7 Christians are persecuted globally, 1 in 5 African Christians and 2 in 5 Asian Christians. You can find their website here to learn about persecution.

Please include those suffering for their faith in your prayers. For families mourning, for people who may be worried, for them to have hope and courage to not give up and stay strong in their walk with God. Additionally, If You want to donate to help people, even just going a day without a 5-dollar cup of coffee, give it to your brothers and sisters fighting for their lives instead.

Pray for them

Heavenly Father, 
I come before you today to pray for my brothers and sisters in Nigeria, Sudan, the Middle East, and North Korea. As well as all other nations where Christians are being killed or persecuted for their faith in other ways. I pray You protect, provide for and comfort those hurting. Give them the courage to be bold in their faith and forgive their oppressors, and I pray that those who engage in the persecution repent and come to you so that they stop hurting your children. 

I pray you comfort those in mourning for those who have passed on, and those in fear for their lives. I pray you fill the church with hope and make their faith strong. 

I thank you for charities like Open Doors that help the persecuted church, also. 

I pray this in Jesus' name, Amen.
